Lemon Sauce

This is a ready in minutes sauce that can be used to prepare quick and easy dinner recipes such as the popular chicken lemon sauce. Poultry meat works best with this sauce, but also veal is great served with lemon sauce. Here is the recipe.

Lemon Sauce Recipe

Preparation time:15 minutes

Makes: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup soup (chicken or beef) or water
  • salt

Preparation:

  1. Warm the oil in a non-stick skillet. Add the flour and saute. 
  2. Add water and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Grate the lemon peel above the skillet. Season with salt, add 2-3 lemon slices and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add water if needed.
  4. Pour the sauce on top the chicken, turkey or veal.
  5. Enjoy!
