French Beef Salad  - A Delicious Appetizer

This delicious French recipe was shared by a french friend of mine who has tasted our Romanian salade de boeuf recipe and taught me how to cook its french counterpart. This recipe uses boiled beef. You can make it in conjunction with beef soup and use the meat from the soup.

French Beef Salad recipe

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Makes: 2 servings

  •  1/2 pound (250 g) boiled   beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • mustard

Preparation steps:

  1. Cut the beef into small cubes.
  2. Finely chop the onion and the parsley.
  3. Make a sauce with 3 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon vinegar seasoned with mustard, salt and ground black pepper.
  4. Add the onions and the parsley into the sauce.
  5. Mix the meat into the sauce. Prepare right before serving (about 1/2 hour before).
  6. Enjoy!
