Egg spread - an easy appetizer


The egg spread is an easy to prepare appetizer that can be made especially when you make the deviled eggs filled with chicken liver paste, so you can give a good use to the remaining yolks.


Egg Spread Recipe


Preparation time: 30 minutes

Spread ingredients:

  • 12 hard cooked yolks
  • 2 teaspoons horseradish mustard
  • 2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • a half onion
  • ground pepper
  • a pinch of salt
  • pickles


  1. Mash with a fork the hard cooked yolks.
  2. Add horseradish mustard, mayonnaise, salt, ground black pepper and grated onion paste.
  3. Make the mixture very smooth to be easy to spread on.
  4. You can serve on slices of toasted bread with a slice of pickle on top.
